Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine is an open-access journal that publishes research across basic, translational, and clinical cardiovascular medicine. The Journal covers all aspects of cardiovascular health, prevention, treatment and care, with an emphasis on studies that challenge the status quo of treatments and practices in cardiovascular care, therefore including sections such as: Atherosclerosis and Vascular Medicine, Cardiovascular Biologics and Regenerative Medicine, Cardiovascular Genetics and Systems Medicine, Structural Interventional Cardiology and others. Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine publishes original research, review papers, as well as perspectives and other article types. Curated article collections highlight topical areas in cardiovascular research.
