NAVBO Online
Focus Sessions are comprised of abstracts from the previous annual meeting that were originally presented as posters.
Each session focuses on one topic and features the work of NAVBO members who are early stage investigators (from graduate students to junior faculty).
In order to highlight these members to the broadest audience, these sessions are free to all and we encourage the presenters to invite colleagues.
Look for these sessions in the Calendar of Events.
The NAVBO Journal Club is a monthly online meeting designed to facilitate discussion of new (within the last 2-3 months) journal articles in wide area of Vascular Biology that would be of interest to NAVBO members.
Each month, a presenter chooses a journal article of interest, and gives a short (~30 minutes) presentation on the article, discussing the goals of the study, primary outcomes and bringing an overall awareness of the research findings, and setting them in to a larger focus. Following the presentation, the article is open to discussion to all attendees.
If you are interested in presenting an article for the Journal Club, please contact Ke Yuan( Ke.Yuan@childrensharvard.edu) or Neha Ahuja (neha.ahuja@utsw.edu)
Upcoming Journal Clubs will be listed in the Calendar of Events.
